Contained within this section of the site are lesson plans and resources developed by primary teachers of Vientiane International School.

The Lao Language Integration Programme has been deliberately designed to move away from the classic model of teaching foreign languages.

As a host language for the students of VIS, the aim of the programme is to integrate spoken Lao language into everyday teaching. The initial model was based on five ten minute lessons in a week as opposed to one fifty minute lesson in a week.

This has developed into Lao language now being a permanent part of classroom activities across the primary section of Vientiane International School.
